About Ginger
Ginger is a reliable horse with sound head, heart and heels! She's a sweet, quiet, willing and very cooperative mare.
In a recent training session with Rope Meyers, World Champion and Olympic Medalist, Ginger
received praise from Rope on her ability to learn very quickly and her natural tendancy to rate.
A hard worker that loves having a job to do, she makes tasks like opening/closing gates, traversing water or obstacles, packing, ponying or pulling easy to do from the saddle. She loves roping and we're excited to see how she does in competition this year.
A great mare that we can count on for family trail rides or work around the ranch, Ginger is also our first choice for an easy-to-manage steed for our personal visitors and friends.
Ginger has toted boy scouts, little kids, first time riders, ranch hands, ropers and cowboys; she does river crossings, trail rides, cow work, ground ties - she is the horse you get out of the barn when you need the job done. Just about anyone can ride this mare. She leads, loads, stands for farrier and is UTD on shots.
Ginger has been started in roping. Tracks, rates, easy to get into the box, very cowy. Would make a good breakaway and/or heel horse.
