About Lone Star

Lone Star is currently OFF MARKET! He was injured in Hurricane Ike and will need some time to recover.

Full of versatility, what does this horse not like to do?  Lone Star is just plain fun!  Full of energy, a sense of play and lots of silly antics, this prankster is fun to ride or just watch!

So far, Lone Star has tried his hoof at barrel racing, pole bending, dressage,  jumping and reining (he loves the sliding stop!) - all of which he seems to enjoy.  Although his favorite appears to be pole bending.

Lone Star has tons of go.   His speed, grace and athleticism,  coupled with lots of heart and a willing disposition, make him a favorite with everyone around the ranch!  He'd make a great barrel/pole  horse for a rider who wants a horse with GO!

Lone Star has had limited hauling and he is a dream in the trailer! Running 16's in barrels and low 22's in poles. He catches, ties (will stand tied to the trailer at a rodeo with no problem), cross ties, leads, loads, bathes and stands for farrier. 100% sound, sane, no alley issues, right in barrels, left in poles, UTD on shots and coggins.
