About Pep

Pep is a two year old with an amazing temperament; he will do anything that is asked of him. You can lead him with just an arm around his neck. He is an exceptionally cooperative horse and we are excited about how he is coming along - smart and handsome!

A sight to see when he runs across the pasture, visitors to the ranch almost always comment on his beautiful color - a creamy white coat contrasting against dark eyes. At two years old he has a well-muscled chest, great shoulder slope, tie-in and a nice, round barrel. We expect him to finish out quite nicely with physical and mental traits we want to pass along to our foals!

Pep tested homozygous for the Agouti allele, meaning he will not throw black foals. His sire is a chocolate palomino and has us excited about the coloring Pep could throw.

Pep has been started under saddle and is progressing nicely. He should finish out a nice size for calf roping or steer wrestling. He might even try his hoof at barrel racing!
