About Snipper
Snipper is heavy on the Bobbie mare line. This smart, sweet and resourceful girl is the most intelligent horse we have ever had the pleasure of working with!
An absolutely astounding trait in this mare is her tendency to use camoflague as her first line of defense, whereas the instinctive nature of a horse should be to flee. On more than one occasion, we have observed Snipper practicing a 'duck & cover' defense to get through dicey situations. For this reason, we use her as a mentor for young weanlings, curtailing the training needed in the 'de-spooking' process. Snipper is a huge asset to our training program for this reason.
Snips is as sweet a mare as you can find, she almost always thinks before she reacts. When spooked she generally backs herself into a tree line or other small spot and watches from a 'safe distance'.
She would make an ideal horse for a little youngster who wants a pony to love.
Snipper is a favorite of everyone's around the ranch. She truly is a rare find.
